The Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on September 02, 2026, issued a notification regarding the prescription of inlet quality standards for Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) and Primary Effluent Treatment Plant (PETP) standards for member units of the CETP, Leather Complex, Jalandhar.
The following has been stated: -
•Punjab Pollution Control Board has ratified Office Order No. 38 dated January 15, 2020, prescribing inlet quality standards for the CETP and PETP for member units of Leather Complex, Jalandhar.
•The ratification was approved in the Board’s 202nd meeting held on July 14, 2026.
•The Office Order has consequently become effective and operative, and all concerned units are required to ensure compliance with immediate effect.
